Upcoming 6-week art courses with Surrey Adult Learning
Since leaving full-time teaching in schools, it’s been a privilege to help guide adults back to their creative selves through my classes at Surrey Adult Learning.
I’m thrilled to announce that a new series of 6-week evening courses with Surrey Adult Learning will begin very soon! These small, welcoming classes are perfect for adults of all skill levels, and offer a relaxed, encouraging environment to learn, explore, and grow.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Acrylic Painting for Beginners
Monday evenings, starting 2nd June 2025 (6 sessions)
This class is perfect for those new to acrylics or looking to build confidence in painting. We’ll explore colour mixing, brushwork, and composition through fun, accessible projects.
Life Drawing with Nude Model
Wednesday evenings, starting 4th June 2025 (6 sessions)
A calm, focused, expressive class where we work with a different life model each week. You’ll develop your observational skills, drawing techniques, and confidence in capturing the human form in these sessions perfect for supporting well-being and focus.
Oil Painting for Beginners
Thursday evenings, starting 5th June 2025 (6 sessions)
This class is great for anyone who has some experience in oils, or has always wanted to try them out! We will familiarise you with the basics of oil painting and build up your confidence and skills from there.
Each of these courses offers a different way into creativity, whether you're curious about colour, fascinated by the figure, or looking to unwind through art. All are taught in an inclusive and supportive space where you’ll be encouraged to grow at your own pace.
